Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Acetech Multilink Enterprise (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a software company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We build practical, scalable software — including Vital Flow, our personal productivity and habit-tracking mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our products and services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Personal info: Name, email address, and phone number provided at registration.
  • Health and fitness: Habit check-ins, streaks, fitness-related goals, and pillar activity you log inside the app.
  • Calendar and planning: Tasks, scheduled events, and daily plans you create in the planning features.
  • App activity: Interactions with app features such as goal progress updates and habit completions.
  • Device identifiers: Expo push notification token linked to your device, used to deliver reminders.
  • Crash and performance data: Crash reports and error logs to help us identify and fix bugs.

We do not collect location data, financial card details, messages, photos, audio, or browsing history.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity via OTP.
  • Deliver the core app functionality — habit tracking, goal management, streaks, daily planning, and journaling.
  • Personalise your experience, including AI-generated daily plans and reflection prompts.
  • Send push notifications for reminders and streak alerts you configure.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Diagnose crashes and improve app performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the app, and only to the extent required:

  • AWS (Amazon Web Services): Cloud infrastructure, database hosting, and message queuing.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management. We do not see your payment card details.
  • Expo: Push notification delivery via Expo Push Notification Service.
  • Cloudinary: Profile avatar image storage and delivery, if you upload one.

All providers are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your user record is soft-deleted immediately — your data is no longer accessible inside the app — and is permanently purged from our systems within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.

6. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt-hashed credentials, short-lived JWT access tokens (15 minutes), HttpOnly refresh token cookies, rate limiting on all authentication endpoints, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Children's Privacy

Vital Flow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
